Terms of use

1. The service

The Independent Roaster Benchmark collects contributor-reported green coffee transaction prices, converts them to US dollars per pound, and publishes aggregate statistics. Submitting a survey is free; reading the full benchmark requires a subscription.

2. Subscriptions and the founding offer

Plans are billed monthly in US dollars. The first one hundred contributors to submit a complete survey receive twelve months of Contributor Access at no charge, applied automatically. This offer is limited to one free year per person or organisation, is not transferable, and has no cash value. Once the hundred seats are claimed, the offer ends.

3. Accuracy of contributions

You agree that the prices you submit are accurate to the best of your knowledge and relate to genuine transactions or quotes. We may exclude responses that are implausible, duplicated, or appear to be submitted in bad faith.

4. Nature of the data

The benchmark is a compilation of contributor-reported information. It is provided for general information and is not investment, trading, financial or legal advice. Exchange rates are indicative and sourced from a third party; we do not guarantee their accuracy or timeliness.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape, resell or redistribute the benchmark, to attempt to circumvent access controls, or to use the service unlawfully. Subscriptions are for the named account and its permitted seats.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on the benchmark.
